Spend your summer with us…
Welcome to the University of Idaho’s Summer Session, where we are committed to offering innovative and quality student-centered classes that are both challenging and engaging. Whether you are a current or returning UIdaho student, a re-certifying educator, a high school student, or a non-degree seeking individual, we are dedicated to your success as a student.
Current Students
Registration for the summer session opens March 26, 2012. Current University of Idaho students may register online as they would for spring and fall semesters. View summer course offerings by going to the summer class schedule.
Returning Students
Students who have attended the University of Idaho any term, in the last two years, and who are in good academic standing, may register for summer courses through the first day of the class which they are attending. Registration may be done online or students may complete and submit a Nondegree Application and Registration Form (see Tuition & Fees for posted registration deadlines and applicable late fees).
Students already admitted for fall can start classes in the summer, if they wish. A phone call to the Admissions Office (208) 885-6326 to switch the starting term is all it takes.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
New nondegree-seeking students or teachers seeking re-certification credit may apply online now. (no transcript required) View summer course offerings by going to the summer class schedule. Summer session enrollment does not constitute admission to the University of Idaho as a degree-seeking student.
High School Students
Summer session provides high school students with an excellent opportunity to take courses at the University that can count toward a high school diploma plus earn nondegree college credit. High school students interested in dual enrollment options should talk with their high school guidance counselor. For more information on this program, visit the Dual Credit Program.
