Directed Studies

Consider offering directed studies when the regularly scheduled class is canceled due to underenrollment, especially as an alternative for students who need the credit for graduation.

If a directed study is to be used to fulfill a core requirement, the instructor must provide the Registrars Office with a statement that can be used to verify that the content of the directed study is an appropriate substitute for the required course.
